Sealant jobs

Sealant jobs for mastic and sealant applicators

If you are a self-employed mastic man or run a sealant company, you can join and browse free, choose the sealant work you do and the area you cover, and claim the jobs you want from homeowners, landlords, contractors and businesses. These are customer jobs, not employment vacancies.

Join free as an applicator How it works for applicators

Mastic and sealant work only, covering the whole UK. Applicator numbers vary by area. Free to post a job. Introduction service: you agree the work and price directly with the applicator.

How sealant jobs work

Sign up with the sealant work you do, your name (and trading name if you have one), base postcode and working radius. You can see jobs as soon as you confirm your email address. The feed shows jobs near you with the description, photos, timing, budget, the poster type and the postcode district. When you want one, claim it with a short message and a guide price.

  • Joining and browsing the feed are free
  • Browse the job feed free; respond to jobs with a monthly subscription (£14.99 for your first month, then £19.99/month, cancel anytime)
  • Up to 3 applicators can claim each job, so you are not in a crowd of ten
  • The customer chooses; if you are chosen you receive their contact details
  • No commission on the work and no per-job fees

Domestic, contractor and commercial work

Jobs range from a single bath reseal to plot mastic on a development or a curtain wall programme. Contractors and businesses can say so when they post, and can note site requirements such as RAMS, inductions, out-of-hours working and the cards they need. You choose which types of sealant work you see.

  • Bathroom and kitchen resealing
  • Window and door mastic
  • Expansion and movement joints
  • Façade and curtain wall sealing
  • Concrete and floor joints
  • New-build plot finishing
  • Commercial and industrial sealing
  • Other sealant work

Where the jobs are

You choose a base postcode and a working radius up to 100 miles, and you can add whole postcode areas you cover. The feed shows jobs near you, with a switch to see jobs anywhere in the UK. Northern Ireland jobs are matched by postcode area rather than distance, because distance data is not available there.

Checks and an honest note on job volume

Joining needs only your name, a confirmed email address, a phone number, your area and the sealant work you do; a trading name is optional and no company number is needed, so sole traders are welcome. You can see jobs as soon as your email is confirmed. You can add CSCS, IPAF and PASMA cards, which customers on site work often ask for. Job volume varies by area, so we do not promise a number of jobs. Set your base postcode and radius, and we email you as jobs are posted near you.

Frequently asked questions

Is this a job vacancy?

No. Mastic Man is an introduction service. Self-employed applicators and sealant companies claim jobs posted by customers. We do not employ anyone.

What does it cost?

Posting a job is free. Applicators pay a monthly subscription (£14.99 for your first month, then £19.99/month, cancel anytime) to respond to jobs, and there is never any commission on the work.

Do I need a CSCS card to join?

No. Cards are optional on your account, but many contractors and commercial sites ask for CSCS, and IPAF or PASMA where you use MEWPs or towers. Adding them helps when you claim site work.

How far can I work?

You set a base postcode and a radius of up to 100 miles, and you can add whole postcode areas. You can also switch the job feed to show jobs anywhere in the UK.
