How it works
One job, up to 3 applicators, your choice
You describe the work once. Nobody sees your name or number until you have picked an applicator.
Example job, for illustration
Reseal bath and shower tray
M20 · Within a week · 3 photos · about 6 m of sealant
The silicone round the bath has gone black and is peeling at the corners, and the shower tray joint has started to leak onto the floor.
3 applicators can claim Contact details hidden until you choose
Post your sealant job
Describe the work, add up to 5 photos, a rough length of joint or number of frames, your postcode district and timing.
Applicators claim it
Applicators who cover your area see only the district and details, never your name or number. Up to 3 can claim each job.
You choose
Compare their profiles, messages and guide prices. Pick one and only then are contact details shared.
Types of work
Mastic and sealant work only
Choose a type of sealant work to see what it involves, what to include when you post and answers to common questions. Or browse every job type and city.
Bathroom and kitchen resealing
Baths, showers, basins, wet rooms, sinks and worktops: old silicone out, new sealant in.
Window and door mastic
Frame perimeter mastic inside and out, patio and bi-fold doors, conservatories and new installs.
Expansion and movement joints
Brickwork, blockwork, render and tiled movement joints, cut out and resealed with the right backing.
Façade and curtain wall sealing
Curtain walling, cladding and rainscreen, precast panels and stone façades, at height.
Concrete and floor joints
Warehouse slabs, car parks, yards, forecourts and paving: joints cleaned out and filled.
New-build plot finishing
Plot mastic for housebuilders and contractors: windows, doors, sanitaryware, snagging.
Commercial and industrial sealing
Shopfronts, offices, schools, healthcare, factories and planned maintenance.
Other sealant work
Any mastic or sealant job that does not fit above.
Photos help
Show the joint, not just the room
Applicators price from your photos, so a close shot of the joint and one of the surrounding surface save a site visit. Add a rough length in metres if you can.

Search for a mastic and sealant applicator
Look up applicators by type of sealant work and postcode or town, or browse the directory. Only applicators who have joined, asked to be listed and been switched on by us appear, so some areas have no listings at the moment.

What is different
Built for sealant work
Photo-first jobs
Add photos and a rough size, such as metres of joint, number of windows or number of plots, so applicators can price without a visit.
Small jobs welcome
No minimum job size. A single bath reseal is exactly what this is for.
Contractors and site work
Contractors and businesses can say so, and note RAMS, inductions, out-of-hours working and the cards they need.
Asbestos flag
Old mastic can contain asbestos. Tick the box on older buildings and applicators see a clear warning before they claim.
Quick replies rank first
When applicators claim your job, the fastest responders are listed first. Replies are timed, not promised.
Price guide
General UK guide ranges for common sealant jobs, clearly labelled as a guide and not a quote. See the price guide.
Plain-English guides
How to reseal a shower, silicone vs. mastic and more in our sealant guides.
Contact details stay private
Your name, phone and email go only to the one applicator you choose.

Frequently asked questions
How do I find a mastic man near me?
Post your sealant job with a short description, photos and your postcode district. Applicators who cover your area can claim it, up to 3 respond with a message and a guide price, and you choose. You can also browse by type of sealant work or by city.
What sealant work can I post?
Mastic and sealant work only: bath, shower and kitchen resealing, window and door mastic, expansion and movement joints, façade and curtain wall joints, concrete and floor joints, new-build plot mastic, and commercial and industrial sealing. There is an option for other sealant work too.
Can builders, contractors and companies post jobs?
Yes. Anyone who needs a mastic man can post: homeowners, landlords, builders, main contractors, other trades and companies. Say which you are on the form if you like and add any site requirements, such as RAMS, inductions, out-of-hours working or the cards you need.
Where do you cover?
The whole UK: England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, including the Scottish islands, the Isle of Wight and the Isles of Scilly. The Isle of Man and the Channel Islands are not included. Applicator numbers vary by area, so we cannot promise a response to every job.
Who sees my phone number and email?
Nobody at first. Applicators see the job description, photos and your postcode district (for example M20), not your name or exact address. When you choose an applicator, we share your name, phone and email with that applicator only, and theirs with you.
What does it cost?
Posting a job is free. Applicators pay a monthly subscription (30 days free, then £29.99/month, cancel anytime) to respond to jobs, and there is never any commission on the work.
How are applicators checked?
Applicators confirm their email address before they see any jobs and we suspend accounts reported for misuse. We do not check companies or identity, and applicators can add CSCS, IPAF or PASMA cards. We are an introduction service and do not promise any outcome, so agree the price and scope directly and ask for photos of previous work.
What if my old mastic might contain asbestos?
Some mastics and sealants used before 2000 contained asbestos. If your building is from before then, tick the possible-asbestos box when you post and have the old sealant tested before anyone cuts it out. Applicators see a warning on the job.
What if nobody claims my job?
Applicator numbers vary by area, and a response is not guaranteed. If nobody claims your job you can cancel it from your private link.
